Terms for placing orders / conducting transactions at the location

To ensure a smooth and mutually beneficial transaction, we kindly ask that you carefully review and agree to our online terms and conditions before proceeding.

By placing an order with us, you certify that you have read, understood, and accepted our terms and conditions, as well as all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our service.

Please note that these terms and conditions will govern all contracts formed between you and us, unless both parties agree in writing to a variation and confirm it in writing. These terms supersede any other terms and conditions that you may seek to impose, incorporate, or that are implied by law or otherwise.

To use our service, you must be 18 years of age or older and will need to place your order during our branch opening hours.

When making a payment, you represent that you are acting independently, for a legitimate reason, and that the funds are legally and beneficially yours. You also guarantee that the funds were not obtained unlawfully, in violation of the legal owner's rights, or in any way associated with criminal activity. We take financial integrity seriously and reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these principles.

When placing an order in store or over the phone for currency/ amounts not present at the location, a 10% deposit must be paid at the branch to confirm both the exchange rate and delivery date of the order. Refunds are not offered unless an order is not ready for pickup within 7 working days from the day the deposit was paid.

We regret to inform you that coins and severely damaged notes are not accepted. Before leaving the counter, we advise clients to count their change and obtain a receipt for any foreign currency transactions. Please be aware that neither Finmondo Ltd nor any of its employees are liable for any subsequent shortages. Finmondo Ltd. has the right to recoup any funds that were unintentionally or carelessly given to the client.

Order completion verifies the legitimacy of the deal and the customer's acceptance of the exchange rate. You certify that all information provided to Finmondo Ltd is true and accurate by concluding a currency exchange transaction.

All customs regulations pertaining to the UK and the countries the consumer is travelling are solely their responsibility. Finmondo Ltd. is protected against errors or damages originating from transactions as well as from other circumstances outside its control (force majeure).

Within 14 days of processing of the foreign currency transaction or the occurrence of the issue, please notify Finmondo Ltd of any complaints/issues. Inquiries into complaints will be carried out with the intention of quickly finding a solution. If this is not possible, the final response will be sent within 14 days, and in some cases, within 30 days.

Finmondo ltd has the right to request for identification documents including a valid ID and a recent proof of address. Further documentation may also be requested, which can include a request for source of funds and source of wealth. Please note that we reserve the right to take copies of documents and use your personal information to conduct additional checks as part of our customer due diligence checks, including background checks (which may be conducted by a third-party provider).

We have the right to refuse to process your order or any portion of it at any time for any reason. We reserve the right to refuse and reject orders without giving a reason, and where clients have already made payment, refunds will be given.

All documentation and information requested will be retained securely.
